City Wholesale Grocery Co. Inc. was a convenience store distributor. The company was founded in 1926 by Pete Dichiara as a purchasing co-operative specializing in tobacco products and candy.

The business was originally located at 1126 2nd Avenue North. In the 1930s and 1940s it operated from 2309-2311 Morris Avenue. In 1974 the company operated from 1230 2nd Avenue South.

By the 2020s City Wholesale operated a distribution network to 1,100 customers in parts of Alabama, Georgia, North Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee, primarily servicing independently-operated convenience stores. The company reported annual revenues of about $150 million.

Paul Dichiara sold the business to Imperial Trading Co. of New Orleans, Louisiana in 2023. The new owners kept the Birmingham facility at 300 Industrial Drive in the Oxmoor Industrial Park operating as a regional distribution center.
