David A. Crenshaw (born in Birmingham) is a musician and producer.

Crenshaw is the youngest of three sons of long-time Ramsay High School band director Edward Crenshaw. He grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Huffman High School.

Crenshaw has worked as a professional percussionist, notably recording and touring with Maxwell and PJ Morton. His recordings with Morton won Grammy Awards in 2019 and 2021. At the same time, he began losing his eyesight to glaucoma.

Crenshaw formerly worked with the Alabama Blues Project to provide educational programs to students. He was inducted into the Alabama Blues Hall of Fame in 2023. He also volunteers at the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind in Talladega.

In 2024 Crenshaw played the lead role in a Birmingham Children's Theatre production of "Mr. Chickee's Funny Money"
