Hoffman Media LLC is a private publishing company founded as Symbol of Excellence Publishers in 1983 by Phyllis Hoffman. She sold it to PJS Publications in 1992, but bought it back from them in 1997, giving it its current name in 1998.

The company publishes eight magazine titles aimed at women readers, including the popular Cooking with Paula Deen and a relaunch of Victoria in association with the Hearst Corporation. The company's headquarters are located at 1900 International Park Drive. It relocated to 2323 2nd Avenue North in downtown Birmingham in 2021.

In addition to its print titles, Hoffman organizes seminars and markets books, cross stitch patterns, and other products related to its magazines. In 2004 it acquired the Martha Pullen Company of Huntsville, which publishes Sew Beautiful as a subsidiary company. The subsidiary was sold to F+W Media Inc. of Blue Ash, Ohio in 2012, and then re-acquired in 2018.
