Note: Discussion of copyright issues have been moved to Bhamwiki talk:Copyrights.
  • I've clarified some of the Bhamwiki:Policy articles. The only change, if you can call it that, is that you are now bound by policy to be helpful. So far everyone has been very helpful. --Dystopos 18:52, 16 November 2006 (PST)
  • I've created a Bhamwiki Talk:Messageboard for general discussion and chatter. --Dystopos 08:02, 31 October 2006 (PST)
  • There is a small, almost useless, stub of a style guide at BhamWiki:Style. In most cases, anything intelligible goes and Wikipedia remains a model.
  • A new category branch is under construction for Category:Works by year which will be the parent of the existing Category:Buildings by year and also handle articles about books, artworks, significant recordings and other notable creations.
  • I would like to start linking dates for births, deaths, and more or less significant historical events (i. e. the date of Michael Jordan's first home run, but not the date of every Barons game) so that someday we'll have an easy way to generate "on this date" articles. --Dystopos 10:04, 16 March 2007 (PDT)

Needed articles

Other needed articles (as I think of them)

Maps

  • Generate aesthetically pleasing non-copyrighted maps for various topics (See 6th Congressional District of Alabama and Vestavia Hills for examples)
  • Possibly develop Google Earth layers for certain categories or lists (homicides, meat and threes, wallace rayfield buildings...).

Timelines

  • Begin creating articles for decades and years with links to specific topics (See 1901, 2005, etc.)
