The Entrepreneurial Center was a business incubator owned by the City of Birmingham in the Tillman-Levenson building on 12th Street North. Since 2001 the Entrepreneurial Center has also managed UAB's Office for the Advancement of Developing Industries (OADI).
In 2007 the center and OADI relocated to the new Innovation Depot on 1st Avenue North between 12th and 13th Streets.
The Center's 47,000 square-foot building was subsequently purchased for $2 million by the engineering firm Gallet & Associates, which will relocate from Beacon Parkway West. Technology firm Valeri will continue to lease space in the building.
