In [[1982]] she was inducted into the [[Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame]], and was awarded the 2007 [[BAMA Awards|BAMA Award]] for "Best Female Vocalist."  She was also a regular TV singer on Birmingham's [[Country Boy Eddie Show]].  She has toured Japan, Ireland, and England singing with praise teams in the USA with choirs as one of their leaders.


The song Good Morning Jesus on her latest CD, "Christmas Songs With A Touch Of Jazz," was written while dealing with breast cancer. The CD, produced by Ray Reach, features Birmingham musicians [[John Nuckols]], [[Chris Wendle]], [[Gary Wheat]] and [[Dave Amaral]].

Roszetta Johnson Scovil, sometimes spelled Rosetta or Rozetta (born June 11, [[____]] in Tuscaloosa) is a soul, R&B and jazz vocalist residing in Birmingham.
