The Famous Theatre is a former cinema located in the historically-black Business District on 4th Avenue North in Birmingham.
Developer and architect Nolanda Bearden purchased the vacant building for $250,000 and has plans to redevelop it as loft residences and offices beginning in Summer 2008. The project has received a commitment of $10,000 in city-backed incentives.
