400 Hollywood Boulevard

400 Hollywood Boulevard is a 1-acre parcel on Hollywood Boulevard flanking the eastern end of the Hollywood Boulevard overpass over U. S. Highway 280. The parcel, which is just south of Lane Park, is located in the Redmont neighborhood of Birmingham, but also borders the suburbs of Homewood and Mountain Brook and adjoins Mountain Brook Village.

Currently vacant, the site formerly housed PT's Sports Grill, the Mexico Lindo restaurants, and the Coffee Shoppe (which was at 404 Hollywood Boulevard before the lots were combined).

The parcel had been owned by the Mazer family until 2009, when it was purchased by Shannon-Waltchack Investment Real Estate. Prior to the sale, a $40 million, 7-story condominium tower, dubbed Montelena, had been planned for the site.

Shannon-Waltchack broke ground on April 16, 2010 for a new restaurant and retail center called The Hollywood.
