Charles Buchanan (born January 5, 1973) is a printmaker and magazine editor.
Buchanan graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School and the University of Alabama. He is currently the managing editor of UAB Medicine magazine.
Buchanan's carved rubber block prints predominately document Birmingham-area landmarks. His work is displayed at area galleries and art shows, including Naked Art and Artwalk.
In 2010, Buchanan wrote an article on fading advertising signs for Birmingham magazine, which led to a publishing deal with The History Press. A 15-chapter book entitled Fading Ads of Birmingham, with photographs by Jonathan Purvis, was published on November 29, 2012.
