W. Dan Puckett (born 1946 in Hartselle) is the CEO of Financial Investors of the South, which acquired the Fultondale-based Bank of Alabama in 1992. He currently serves as Chairman and CEO of that bank, now called CapitalSouth Bank and based in Birmingham. In 2003 Governor Bob Riley named him to the Alabama Banking Board.

Puckett hold a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Alabama and a graduate degree in banking from Louisiana State University.
