Prepaid Technologies is a Birmingham-based provider of financial services, specializing in helping companies distribute prepaid debit cards. The company was founded in 1998 by Tommy McCulley and has been headed by his son-in-law, CEO Stephen Faust since 2018. Steve Fussell is president of the company.

The company's offices have been located at Lakeshore Park Plaza and at 6 Office Park Circle in Mountain Brook's Office Park.

In March 2019 the company acquired the dash portfolio from Karmic Labs of San Francisco, California. In 2021 Princeton, New Jersey-based Edison Partners led a $96 million funding round to support the company's growth.
