It was founded in 2016 by Sam Yates and has offices at 4005 2nd Avenue South in Forest Park-South Avondale. The company operates across central and north Alabama and also has offices in Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. Eagle Solar & Light is a member of the Boulder, Colorado-based Amicus Solar Cooperative.
Eagle Solar donated a 1.5 kW rooftop photovoltaic system to the Alabama Environmental Council's Community Recycling & Resource Center near its Avondale headquarters.
