Revision as of 12:18, 16 November 2016
The Gardendale City Council is the elected legislative body for the City of Gardendale. It consists of five members, each elected to represent a voting district, and a president elected at-large. In 2012 the council switched from a Mayor/Ward council to a Mayor/Council President format due to an increase in Gardendale's population.
City council meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month. Council meetings are held in the council chamber at Gardendale City Hall, which is located at 925 Main Street (Gardendale).
