Montevallo Road extends presently from an eastern terminus at 16th Street in Irondale, through the Eastwood section of Birmingham, through Crestline Heights in northern Mountain Brook, past the southern edge of the Country Club of Birmingham to the center of Mountain Brook Village.

Another section picks up as part of Alabama Highway 119 at U. S. Highway 31 in Alabaster and continues south
