'Paine Elementary School, formerly Paine Primary School and Paine Intermediate School is located at 7500 Gadsden Highway in Trussville, directly across the street from the Amerex Corporation.

The school, along with Cahaba Elementary School and Magnolia Elementary School, serves students living within the Trussville School System in grades K-5.

When opened in 2003, the school was named Paine Primary School and served Kindergarten, first and second grades, while the adjacent Paine Intermediate served grades 3, 4, and 5. In 2016, the schools were combined into one and renamed Paine Elementary. Paine, along with Cahaba Elementary School and Magnolia Elementary School

The school is named for Ned Paine and his wife who donated the land where the school was constructed. The school was designed by McCauley Associates and built by Gary C. Wyatt General Contractor.
