Paul Hamilton Earle (born January 22, 1839; died November 26, 1900 in Maryland) served on the Birmingham Board of Aldermen under Mayor A. O. Lane in the 1880s and was president of the Birmingham Trust and Savings Company from 1890 until his death.

Earle was one of ten children born to Samuel Sidney Earle and the former Harriet Hampton Wright.

Earle married the former Mary Gaines Greene in 1869 and they resided in the family's Earle-Greene plantation in Elyton. They had three children, Samuel Lowndes, Katherine, and Paul II.

Earle died in 1900. His funeral services were held at First United Methodist Church, and he was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery.
