The Preserve Jazz Festival is a live jazz concert held annually at Moss Rock Preserve in Hoover. The festival was founded in 2007 by jazz guitarist Eric Essix and Preserve resident and insurance salesman Jason Henderson.

2008

The 2008 festival was held on June 1. Headliner was Guitars & Saxes. Other acts included Mart Avant's Night Flight Big Band, Kelley O'Neal Band with CeCe Phillips, and Joey Sommerville and his band, with Bob Baldwin.

2007

The innagural festival was held June 3, 2007. Headliner was Grammy-nominated saxophonist, Kirk Whalum. Also appearing were Eric Essix & Friends, Oteil and the Peacemakers, and Karen Gruber.
