Founding date

• I see Dystopos has discovered discrepancies in the founding date of Zelosophian Academy. Summe says it was 1883. That appears to be based on one or two articles from 1959 newspapers, but I agree it doesn't fit if the rest of the information in James Hall's bio is correct. The 1892 date comes from Where to Educate, which was published in 1898. That gives it points for being more contemporary, at least. --Lkseitz (talk) 05:32, 22 May 2015 (PDT)
  • A biographical source shows he founded an academy in Springville in 1883. That might have caused confusion if one of Summe's sources considered the Oak Grove academy to have been a continuation of that institution. --Dystopos (talk) 07:41, 22 May 2015 (PDT)

Location

The ADAH photos claim that it was at Rosedale Cumberland Presbyterian, at least for a while. But I can't remember if I've seen any other corroboration for that, and it doesn't really seem right and no moves are mentioned in the sources I've been able to find recently. --Dystopos (talk) 07:41, 22 May 2015 (PDT)
