Mom's Basement is a bar located on the lower level of the Avondale Mills Shopping Center at 4441 3rd Avenue South in East Avondale. The bar features canned wines and beers along with well cocktails. Hot dogs and popcorn are available, as well. Karaoke is offered on Thursday evenings.

The idea for the bar was brainstormed by Wes Frazer, Patrick Nelson, and Daniel Drinkard with Payne and Rae Baker. Payne Baker and Patrick Nelson incorporated the business in 2017. The bar opened in 2018, furnished with vintage booths and lounge seating, a coin-op pool table, and a photo booth. The walls are decorated with a growing collection of framed photographs of patrons' mothers. Nelson's firm Regarding Architecture, designed the renovations with help from Frazer and Jonathan Purvis. The work was carried out by Pardón Construction. David McSween is general manager.

Mom's Basement holds frequent live music events and a regular vintage market. It also sponsors a chicken parade at Mardi-Gras.

During the COVID pandemic the bar offered curbside service and began selling 16" pizzas from the kitchen of the former Lo Lo's BBQ across the street.
