Jefferson County voting precincts are geographical subdivisions created for the purpose of organizing elections in Jefferson County. A precinct usually corresponds to a polling place, but in the past some precincts have had more than one polling location, and some polling places may serve more than one precinct.
Precinct boundaries are changed as needed to facilitate elections, under the authority of the Jefferson County Board of Registrars. The only elected office corresponding to the precinct level is that of Jefferson County Constable.
