Alabama Bound is a yearly book festival held since 1999 at the Birmingham Public Library with invited Alabama authors giving readings and presentations from recent works. It is organized by Linda Wilson and usually is scheduled for the same weekend as the Magic City Art Connection at Linn Park.

Alabama Bound also hosted two local publishers Birmingham Arts Journal and OnStage Publishing, and several writers' groups including Alabama Media Professionals, Alabama Writers Conclave, Alabama Writers Forum, Booker T. Washington Magnet School creative writing, Women Writing for Change, and Writing Today. Funding for the event was provided by the Jefferson County Community Arts Fund and the Daniel Foundation of Alabama.
