B. L. Harbert International (BLHI) is a construction company with specialties in governmental, commercial, healthcare and civil engineering design-build projects around the world. The company was founded in 2000 by Billy Harbert, Jr. Its main offices are in the former Southern Progress headquarters at 820 Shades Creek Parkway. The company has a second office in Dubai, United Arab Emirites.

The company employs more than 6,500 people and is ranked as the 74th largest contractor and 41st largest design build company in the United States by ENR Magazine.

In 2011,the company broke ground on a new 12-acre international operations campus at 210 London Parkway at Lakeshore Crossings. The new office building and distribution center were designed by Giattina Aycock Architecture Studio. They two structures are connected by a foot bridge over Little Shades Creek.

Projects

BLHI is perhaps best known for designing and constructing United States embassies in 32 countries since 1986. The firm has also constructed hotels, resorts and infrastructure projects in Aruba, Colombia, Ecuador, Jamaica, Malaysia, Palestine, Qatar, Uganda and all over the United States.
