Birmingham Parking Authority Deck 6 is a 10-story 646-space parking deck owned and operated by the Birmingham Parking Authority and located on 2nd Avenue North between 20th and 21st Streets. It was designed by Adams, Keeton, Cosby, Amaro, Inc. architects and built by the Miree Construction Corporation. The deck opened in 1987.
In June 2005 the City of Birmingham made an agreement with Synergy Realty Services, redeveloper of the City Federal Building, to make 153 spaces available for condominium residents. The deck also serves the Frank Nelson Building, with parking passes for Birmingham School of Law students at a special rate per semester.
