The Gardendale Civic Center is a community facility located at 857 Main Street across from Gardendale High School.
The original Gardendale Community Center was built in the 1950s on Fieldstown Road, and later renovated for The Church at Gardendale. It was replaced by a new Gardendale Civic Center at 960 Main Street behind Gardendale City Hall. That building was later connected to Gardendale First Baptist Church.
The present Civic Center was completed in April 2001 by M. J. Harris Inc. for $4.5 million. It features a competition gym, various size meeting rooms, and a 6,000-square-foot Exhibition Hall.
