Dr Lawrence J. Lemak is a world renowned orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy and reconstruction of the knee, shoulder, hip and elbow.

A graduate of the UAB School of Medicine, Dr Lemak is a founding partner of Alabama Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, one of the nation's leading orthopaedic clinics. He has played an integral role in sports medicine and arthroscopy research as one of the founders and board members of the American Sports Medicine Institute, a research and education center. He is also a founder of the National Center for Sports Safety.
