The Southside Residence Inn, at 821 20th Street South, is a $23 million, 120-room extended stay hotel being constructed for Jacksonville, Florida's Clarkson Group. The architect is KBJ Architects of Jacksonville.
The 7-story, 85,000 square-foot hotel and associated parking garage is being built on the site of the former Royal Inn. When completed, it will be operated as a Marriott Residence Inn. The project is set for completion in January 2009.
