*** I don't think the B'ham Public Library has phone books, but they do have city directories, which perform the same function. They're somewhere in the Linn-Henley Research Library. Britling
I didn't see a mention in the Britling Cafetera entry, but I remember there was a Britling's location in that shopping center in Mt. Brook Village where Browdy's was until last year and where the Western supermarket still is. As I recall the Britling's was located in the general area where the late Browdy's was or maybe a little to the left of that location (heading down to Dragonfly). This would have been in the '60s sometime, as I recall. Can anyone confirm this?--ExPat 11:24, 8 April 2010 (PST)
