The 2005 City Stages was the 17th annual edition of "Birmingham's World-Class Music Festival". The festival hosted 125 performers on 9 stages around Linn Park and 5th Avenue North on June 17-19, 2005.
The 2005 festival gained a title sponsor and was officially named the Vines & Waldrep City Stages in a three-year deal worth $150,000 per year. Weekend passes increased by $5 to $35 in advance.
