The 2008 Birmingham-Southern College Panthers football season was the 2nd for the college since the program was resurrrected in 2006. Eddie Garfinkle replaced former Alabama Crimson Tide and Birmingham Stallions reciever Joey Jones as head coach for 2008. The Panthers finished the year 3-7, identical to their 2007 season. The Panthers played their home games at Regions Park, at Vestavia Hills High School, and at the new Panther Stadium at the BSC Athletics Complex.

Results (3-7)

  1. August 30: Defeated Campbell 12-6 in Buies Creek, North Carolina. It was Campbell's first game since 1950.
  2. September 6: Lost to LaGrange College 34-31 at Vestavia Hills High School
  3. September 20: Lost to Rhodes College 35-7 in Memphis, Tennessee.
  4. October 4: Lost 48-20 to Trinity College, defending SCAC champion, at Regions Park in Hoover.
