The 2009 Miles College Golden Bears football season will be the 2nd for head coach Billy Joe. The Golden Bears finished the 2008 season 2-8, with a SIAC (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conferece) record of 2-7. The Golden Bears play their NCAA Division II home games at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium in Fairfield, and at Legion Field in Birmingham.

Schedule and results (3-4)

  1. August 29: Defeated Lane College 35-18 at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium.
  2. September 6: Defeated Tuskegee University 34-0 at Legion Field.
  3. September 12: Lost to Benedict College 40-31 in Columbia, South Carolina.
  4. September 19: Lost to Samford University 31-12 at Seibert Stadium in Homewood.
  5. September 26: Defeated Clark Atlanta University 6-0 in Atlanta.
  6. October 3: Lost to Fort Valley State 36-12 at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium.
