Cahaba Valley Road is a section of Alabama State Highway 119 which splits off from U.S. Highway 31 (Pelham Parkway) in northern Shelby County.

Highway 119 continues south along U.S. Highway 31 from Pelham to Calera and then to Montevallo. Cahaba Valley Road spits off and proceeds east by northeast through the Cahaba Valley, between New Hope Mountain and Little Oak Ridge. The road crosses below I-65, then passes through Indian Springs Village and the New Hope community. It skirts the north boundary of Oak Mountain State Park, then crosses U.S. Highway 280, over part of Lake Purdy.

At the Jefferson County line just south of Grants Mill Road its name changes to Eastern Valley Road (disconnected from the Eastern Valley Road in western Jefferson County), and then terminates in Leeds as Montevallo Road.

Areas along Cahaba Valley Road in Pelham and Meadow Brook suffered damage from an F-2 tornado during the 1994 Palm Sunday tornado outbreak.
