Shane Boteler, known as Shane B., is a tattoo and graffiti artist in Birmingham. Boteler is one of the artists at the Non Stop Art tattoo parlor on 20th Street North and has created several murals around the City Center.
Boteler's 2020 mural of George Floyd on plywood put up to protect broken windows at Wheelhouse Salon after the May 31 riots was defaced on June 9 with a black X over Floyd's face. Boteler was able to refurbish the mural and Wheelhouse owner Johnny Grimes did not press charges against the perpetrators.
