The Moore Cemetery is a family cemetery established in 1839 near Verbena in Chilton County.
Obadiah Moore, Jr, a veteran of the siege of Charleston in the American Revolution, moved his family to the Chestnut Creek area of what was then Autauga County around 1820. His son, John Moore purchased the property on which the cemetery stands on September 4, 1834. It became the final resting place of his father, at his death in 1839. The cemetery contains a total of 37 graves, of which 10 are marked.
The cemetery was added to the Alabama Historic Cemetery Register in 2009.
