This is a List of homicides in 2019, including homicide cases reported throughout the Birmingham District. To date, at least 3 homicides have been reported in the area for the year. Note that a "homicide" refers to the cause of death as determined by a medical examiner, not to the crime of murder as charged by prosecutors and adjudicated through the courts.

- January 3: An unnamed male was killed and two other men wounded by gunfire when an argument broke out at Hammett Towing & Recovery on Wesson Lake Road just outside Attalla. The suspected shooter has not been named, but is believed to have been one of those injured. (report)
