The 1906 Birmingham Base Ball Club (also known as the Birmingham Coal Barons) represented Birmingham in the Southern League, and won the league championship that season. The club, owned by William McQueen, was managed by Harry "Farmer" Vaughn, in his third year and played at Slag Pile Field.
Robert Baugh, owner of the Birmingham Arms & Cycle Co., was president of the organization.
