William Parker (born c. 1973) is a former member of the Alabama House of Representatives and represents District 4 in the Birmingham City Council, having been appointed to fill the seat left vacant by his mother, Maxine Parker.
Parker graduated from Talladega College in 1994. He worked as a legislative assistant Congressman Earl Hilliard.
Parker was elected to represent Alabama House District 59 in the State Legislature in 1998 and served until 2002, when his re-election bid was successfully challenged by Mary Moore. Since then he has assisted his mother in her efforts to bring improvement projects to the Collegeville neighborhood.
On November 26, 2013 Parker was appointed by the City Council to fill the vacant District 4 seat until a special election could be called in June 2014.
