The 2007 Iron Bowl took place on November 24, 2007 with the 25th ranked Auburn Tigers overcoming the Alabama Crimson Tide 17-10. It was the 72nd contest in the series and the tenth held at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn. It was televised on ESPN. The game marked Nick Saban's first Iron Bowl, and was Tommy Tuberville's sixth consecutive and final Iron Bowl victory.
With Auburn ahead 10-0, Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson scored a third-quarter touchdown. Auburn quarterback Brandon Cox scored on a 1-yard sneak with 3:58 left in the game. Alabama kicker Leigh Tiffin scored a field goal with 2:11 to go. Alabama attempted an on-side kick which was recovered by Auburn, who hung on for the victory.
