Shower of Stars

Ad for the May 7, 1965 concert at Legion Field

The WVOK Shower of Stars was a series of concerts sponsored by WVOK-AM at the Birmingham Armory and later at Birmingham's Municipal Auditorium. Program director Dan Brennan organized the shows, which gained national notice.
