The Sidewalk Film Festival (formerly called the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival) is an annual competitive film festival held since 1999 in downtown Birmingham. It is produced by the Sidewalk Film Center and Cinema, a non-profit educational organization with offices in The Pizitz. The festival's executive director is Chloe Collins. Josh Vasa served as festival manager from 2012 to 2016.

The organization was incorporated in 1998 as the Alabama Moving Image Association by Erik Jambor, Kelly Franklin and Wayne Franklin. Since 2010 the Sidewalk festival has been held in conjunction with the "Birmingham Shout" gay and lesbian film festival.
