Notable deaths in 2020 included actor Kirk Douglas; basketball star Kobe Bryant; journalist Jim Lehrer; writers Roger Kahn and Elizabeth Wurtzel; Monty Python founder Terry Jones; former NBA commissioner David Stern; and rock drummer Neil Peart.
