This is a List of businesses that closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting permanent closures which were more or less directly attributable to government-issued social distancing orders and suppressed economic activity during the worldwide pandemic.

In addition to the ongoing businesses that closed permanently or indefinitely, many businesses suffered one or more temporary closures and numerous events were canceled.
